 About Us
We are a service organization in the College of Agriculture here at Louisiana State University A&M. Throughout the year, we volunteer our time for different events, hold petting zoo's, host concession stands, and much more.
Our fund raising event during the fall is our Annual Student Rodeo. All current LSU students are invited to attend and compete in this annual event. Students compete for prizes, all-around buckles, and trophies for the winning Fraternity and Sorority. We donate 10% of our proceeds to a charity of our choice.
Our fun spring event is Little International, a member exclusive livestock show where club members compete against each other in showmanship competition with bulls, pigs, sheep, and horses.
Members have the opportunity to apply for club scholarships,as well as scholarships given by the LSU Block and Bridle Alumni Association. Please click here for more information concerning scholarships and eligibility.
We also tailgate for our home football games on South Stadium Drive, right in front of the Dairy Store. Feel free to stop by for some good food, company, and fun!
Our meetings are held every other Thursday (location changing. please email for more information). More information will be provided for meeting dates once they are finalized.
LSU Block and Bridle Club is a division of the National Block and Bridle Club. For more information, chapter listing, and current Block and Bridle news please visit www.blockandbridle.org.
